Where are you guys getting your glass for a tuning board at? I looked online and the prices are crazy compared to what I heard some people saying they're getting theirs for. I'm looking at 72"x24".

Have you checked a local glass shop? Someone that repairs residential and commercial windows?
Some people have said they bought a cheap mirror but I don't know that you would find one that large. How about craigslist? Anyone selling a large glass table you could pirate the top from? A salvage storefront door?

I just called my glass shop and for 72X24 they said it was $50 bucks with tax and everything...

I got mine " free " from Glass guy who needed his sons cub scout car to run really fast
blah
But call some commercial glass companies who remove glass from big busineses , they could save you a piece after their install for say "beer" money.

I have glass on my tuning board. Let the other guys that are using plexiglass chime-in if they think it is working out well for them . Have no experience with plexiglass for tuning board.....SPIRIT.....

Mine was 24" by 8ft. Two prices. $60 for 1/4 inch. $40 for 1/8". Regular glass company for residential and commercial windows. This is in Colo.
I had already built my table, so I took it down, and for that price they cut the glss for an exact fit. I'm quite happy with the result.
I also went to 5kids site, copied his diagram to be put under the glass (one a usb drive). Went to Staples, and they printed my a copy 2 x 8 feet, including putting the Icon (OPARENNEN to the left). They printed it on a banner, I could choose a plastic or a thick paper sheet. I used paper, because it was half the cost ($30), and I figured it would never tear being under a glass protection.

Ughhh why is Ohio glass so expensive. What about a mirror. How are ppl using a mirror?

Draw a straight line the length of the mirror with a marker. At the far end put a mark every inch away from the line. Set it level side to side and on a slight incline. Line your car up on the line and roll it. Whatever mark it hits at the far end, that's your steer.

I know that, but I take pride in having accurate and nice things. Tuning boards with graphics are more precise than my magic marker mirror
