Graphite burnishing?

Is the preferred method using the smooth end of a drill bit or still a qtip shaft?

I think you'll find it varies. I've seen the q-tip stalk, the tamiya swab, the pin gauge, and the drill bit all mentioned. I tend to do an initial application with the tamiya swab and then hit it with the Walgreens cotton swab stalk, but I'm not an expert by any stretch...
