How do I remove the excess wax buildup on the wheels?

After I polished and waxed my wheels I have some dry wax on the outside of the wheel from blowing out with compressed air. The bores are clean as glass and look great. What do I clean the outside with that won't strip the bore of my prep?

I use a dry medium soft toothbrush to get the excess off after I hit it with a microfiber towel... that seems to get most of it off.

Yeah getting wax out of the spokes is a PITA. Tooth brush gets most of the stubborn stuff. On the hub as long as it isn't interfering where the axle mates with the wheel it shouldn't be an issue if you don't get it completely clean in the corners.

In addition to the tootbrush and cloth, I also use those pointed tip cotton swabs found in the cosmetic section of CVS.

I use a cheap electric vibrating tooth brush and swabs cut in half at an angle.

On the outside of the wheel?; just a "q-tip" will due. The fluffy end.
