So we have done it again! Powder puff derby champion's and Cub Scout pack champs! Today was my daughters ppd race and her car did remarkably well! Thanks for the tip on weight placement for a straight running car DD4H. The race was held on a 49' best track. Makennas car ran a 3.556 average time. This is one of our slower cars as it was meant to be cute! I have done the math to determine if it's sub 3 seconds in 42' and come up with 2.988. Does this sound realistic? I realize timers and tracks can all be different but by how much? Are we close to our goal of a sub 3 second car? I'm chewing my nails off!!!

i dont think a non rail riding car gonna break 3 sec, but i guess it just sepends on the track
We gave the rears a just barely noticeable 1.5 degree can't and used the natural bend in the dfa to steer the car. Roughly 4" in 4 '. Thanks, wishful thinking I guess!

Yes, thank you Ballistic! I will do that. I'll hit the post office first thing tomorrow. If this car does well or is closer to 3 seconds flat it would be a major confidence booster!

That's great that your sending in, now do yourself & your daughter BIG favor, take the time to protect the car in shipping. This is the number one car killer as anyone on this board will tell you. If you're not set up with a good shipping box maybe others on the board can chime in on some easy inexpensive ways to pack & ship your car.
