I found a score of some nice sugar pine. Thought you guys would like a peek into the world of Bulldog Racing. I've recruited a new member!

I want to see pics and videos of other racers, I really enjoyed putting faces with race names at nationals, lets keep that spirit alive! Show us a inside look into your world!

I had to chuckle a few times during your video. I thought I had the pinewood bug flu bad, but you have it worse. Awesome job Bulldog!

Slightly jealous of the wood working equipment. Nice setup! 700+ blocks, that's crazy! Wish I had all of your energy my friend.

Can I get 25 or so ?!?!?

How thick are those blocks ? The weight you were getting I think is close to 1/4" blank of poplar, but yours looked thicker.

It would be really cool if more people did video's. Not many have pro shops though !

These are 5/16" thick. I like to leave the body in one piece. I guess you could subtract 20% weight if they were 1/4". Thanks for all the positive comments guys! I sure love this Sport-hobby-addiction!

I get them all down below 10 grams before I use them.

Holy crap Bulldog ! ! ! and I thought I was addicted when I found a piece of sugarpine that made 120 body blanks ! ! ! ! I guess I need to go back to the lumber store.
peace

Now you need to sort them by weight. /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
You didn't want to try ripping the strips before plaining and double your yield?

21 - 23g at 5/16" is awesome.

Hahaha. I'm almost fell out my chair laughing when I saw your stack at 3:09. You're going to be building cars forever! I must admit that I wasn't prepared for that giant stack of bodies. (You even used Eddie to warn us all that something epic was about to happen!!!) Let's just hope that the new DD4H basswood bodies don't mess up your sugar pine plans!
