How to store wheels used wheels for next year?

I have wheels that I will use for MA this year. The have been prepped with black ice and used with oil. I want to save these wheels for next year if possible. Will the wheels stay preserved for next year if I clean the wheels and put them in a dust free cover? Or will the plastic degrade?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Takle boxes are great for storing all kinds of things.

You can always return the wheels to the tube they came in or to the plastic sleeve that John sent them in.
Just make sure you don't leave them on the car and have the car sitting on the wheels.

Don't want them getting flat spotted.

I do have some trays available that will store them nicely.

The trays are nice. But the baggies are cheaper.

You could always continue racing at the NPWDRL during the Scout off-season. Then there is no need to store anything...
