"Just wanted to give you an update. My daughter had her Awana Grand Prix yesterday and she won 1st place for speed! It was our first rail rider and only the second car we've ever constructed. Her avg. mph was 214.7. Her times were pretty consistent. Best was 3.003 and slowest was 3.0270 on a 42 ft. wood track. I just wanted to thank you for making the rail rider tool which helped me, a stay at home mom, who has no woodworking skills and no knowledge of tools etc. to build a winning car along with my 8 yr. old daughter. Thank you for your help and guidance also when I had questions."

That's funny!!! Something I started doing a few races ago, about 6. I take the last place car at the end of the race do a quick tune and install some good graphite and 5 out of 6 races I have been able to make the last place car faster than the 1st place. It's a good way to wipe away the last place tears away! That is done using no tools just knowledge I've gained from here and good graphite. The one car that I wasn't able to beat was one that I had drilled using the Silver bullet and helped with the setup. You don't need those crappy tools to win on a pack level just the correct knowledge.
