(Yeah, I know. One track mind)
First off, congrats to QT.
Kinser and Opa, too.
It looks like the updates I did to my car, the Calliente, did improve things. But with the new gate, it's harder to compare times. My car ran 0.09s faster than September. So, maybe 0.05 improvement?
Thing is, the car got the shakes something fierce after the transition — just like Rocket Car's Suicide. I'm guessing that upping the steer might help... Dunno. It was set to about 4" in 4', with a CoM near 3/4". Not positive, this last week has been a whirlwind as I chair our Pinewood Grand Prix race which was scheduled for today).
Anyway, it'd be awesome if someone on site could take a peek at the car and offer suggestions. Otherwise, I'll have to apply best guesses and see what happens next month.
Kinda cool that I did manage a (now less impressive) sub-2.98, though. /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif
