Everyone has their preference and opinion. Legend is great and might work better for some people. I think it is most popular as a basecoat.

One thing I learned early on is a lot of this "stuff" is dependent on your perp methods. I would buy both, prep with Legend and send a car in to the NPWDRL and race it. Then prep with Rocket and send a car in to a later race and compare your times. From what I can tell, John's track times are pretty consisent, plus you can see how you are doing relative to other racers.

I'm trying to send in a number of cars to the next race in mid July, all with different preps, etc. to see what works for me...
