Insane fast start?

For those watching the races yesterday, one car seemed to drop a foot ahead of all the others for one race. What could be some ideas for such a fast start? I was hoping to see it repeat but it did not.

Great site. I've been reading every day for about 3 months. I plan to send in my first offering next month.

This car that dropped ahead a foot. Did it end up winning or losing b.c I see 2 possible explanations

I believe it was run down in the flat, but still had a great time for that one run.

I didn't see this run, but my guess would be he had a higher COG, more weight forward giving him a fast start, but as you saw he was caught in the end. Now this is a simple explanation and league racing.isn't simple so there could.be other factors involved.

Not sure what class it was but I believe it was AC Design's car. Came off the gate like a rocket and then just died right out. It was weird.

Gravity has it. Couldn't remember the car name. I was excited to see it agian but it never had the jump like the first time out of the gate.

It was in the novice I thought. One of the first races after they rebooted the stream the first time. I remember seeing it and John said exactly what I was thinking, "Whoa. What the hell was that." Then the feed froze again.

I was thinking it somehow stuck to the start post or something. Maybe was staged straight and lost all its lead when the steer of the DFW banged the rail.
