Inspired by LB's X3 car I've incorporated Joe's Valkarie fenders and custom shaped balsa side skirts/fenders to link up the trailing front and rear fenders as one piece. Lot of CA glue and sanding enjoyed the challenge and had fun building it. Took a long time. Hope it runs well tonight! Good luck to all racers tonight!

I'd suggest using Walgreens Finger cots over your index finger to protect it from CA glue. Then you can safely use your protected finger to spread evenly and burnish the CA gel glue into the balsa fender. Allow a few minutes to dry and then sand. As you get into the deeper layers of balsa and it starts to feel soft (can dent easily) it's time for another coat of CA glue. I like the Loctite gel control CA glue as it stays put and gives me 3-5 seconds to spread with toothpick and then attach. Use CA glue accelerator to speed up instant bonding.
