Be sure to let the Jig a Loo dry for at least 30 minutes (or 60) before mating the axles to the wheels. Wet Jig will destroy the plastic wheels.

To be clear, I would say that all of the builders here are using the DD4H mix, and not straight Krytox, although that's not even so relevant to the question. The answer is NO! As Derby Freak mentioned, you are likely to add contaminants to the axle. Also, Krytox does not have an issue with being applied liberally. I can't see a good reason to wipe off the Krytox.
