Be sure to let the Jig a Loo dry for at least 30 minutes (or 60) before mating the axles to the wheels. Wet Jig will destroy the plastic wheels.

I have been using this "Moo Slick" spray (made by Cow products I believe) for a couple of years in my speed run cars that have set several RC speed records (179 mph). My bearings live longer and are much smoother also they don't pick up near the same amount of dust and dirt after running as they did when I ran oils. I have no idea if it would work for Derby use but its worth a try.
Also there are several YouTube videos floating around of it being "tested" so to speak.

Can anyone tell me how long krytox 100 will last and how many runs you can get before a re-lube is needed?

you will get different opinions on this one, but you should expect at LEAST 75, probably more. If your bores are prepped right you can go a long time with a little bit.

Do you wipe the Krytox off after you put it on? I tried a krytox oil method created by a user named Sporty from another pinewood derby board and it seemed to work well. Not sure if anyone is familiar with the method he discovered but I am curious if it is the same thing the league racers do.
I would be afraid to wipe the axle with anything due to the fact you will more than likely get some kind of trash such as lint or dust on the axle and this would completely kill your prep job for sure. My suggestion would be to get the "Oil Secrets Unlocked" video from DD4H and follow it exactly.
To be clear, I would say that all of the builders here are using the DD4H mix, and not straight Krytox, although that's not even so relevant to the question. The answer is NO! As Derby Freak mentioned, you are likely to add contaminants to the axle. Also, Krytox does not have an issue with being applied liberally. I can't see a good reason to wipe off the Krytox. as of right not we have straight krytox 100. Next year its DD4H oil and video for sure. So will straight krytox last for months also?
i got the jig a loo , i spray and dry for 15 min, so do i add my oil/grphite or do i wipe offthe jig a loo after dry???
You should not be using jig a loo with graphite. For oil spray let dry for 15min install in wheel and apply oil.

ok, what if u put the jig a loo on and dryed and washed it with alcohol how about then.Also do you put the oil on the axle first and then put the wheel on or do you put the wheel in the axle and add the oil???
