First I would like to thank everyone for all the PM's i have been getting. I have been answering as i can. Quite a few of you newer guys have expressed interest in both sending in cars proxy and it looks like 3 or 4 of ya will be making the pilgrimage to KY for the live event !! I still say being there for a live event is one of the best ways to get up to speed, there are so many things that can be explained , but seeing them makes it all click. Many of the veterans will be on hand as well.
The first race went off GREAT !! , I intend to uphold the bar it set and make this the biggest , fastest Cabinfever ever. There will also be the STREET ROD race, so break out the models guys its on. For those that havent seen a Street Rod race, it is a 1/24 or 1/25 scale plastic model with street stock running gear. It is very COOL!!
There are also youth classes for kids 13 and under. they can run the street stock and the eliminator class for trophy's.
There will also be the 3 Second Dream race, it is run within the Street Stock class, who ever has the closest 6 run average to 3.000 seconds wins the trophy. Sogone ran a 3.0000 average on the money this month. but this award is usually out of reach for the top dogs.
