I waited too long to take the picture so the colors are not great. Yellow Submarine looks orange but is really yellow. They will be shipping this week. Spending too much time thinking pinewood so I have decided to scale back and just try to consistently run 2 cars.
Purple Bullet got reprepped, new monokote, and new gee fenders. I am not happy with it but I hope I am surprised and it does better. For some reason I have a hard time fine tuning it. I also got the FDW fender too close and had to pull it and remount. That car has been a pain. It is a total rebuild from MOTM but the same parts.
Yellow Submarine got a reprep and a slight change in the tuning. Hopefully it will pick up a little. The opposite of Purple Bullet this car has always been easy. It was right where I wanted it after mounting the wheels. Ran it a few times on the tuning board and it was where I wanted it with no adjustments. Hopefully it will be fast enough to at least catch a smell of the lead pack.
Trying a new wax on the wheel bores this month hopefully it is not a dog.
Regardless of how they run I am having fun.
