What's up my building brothers! It's dead of summer and PWD cub season is in no mind of no scout dad, it's us hard core die hard racers here, so give yourself a pat on the back. I'm sick of turning on this forum and seeing that none of you guys have left any new comments. We had a great trash talk session earlier this week which was nice, can't wait to see who come out on top. Quick Time had a lot to spit so he better bring it! Kinser was abusing JBD but JBD deleted his comments too quickly so I mad libed what I thought he would say, none the less glad we're going to see a pinks in the near future. Bullet does his trash on the track and damn he backs it up! Zeeb aint afraid as he will crush us with his dominant hand! So while ya all were smacking I've been cracking! I got to work today and started on some new stuff. I got DD4H new style GEE fenders, and some new parts to try and beat my current cars. I'll be joining in in Street Pro and Street rod this race as well. I am very excited at the consistency of my building techniques. I used to have to build 10 cars to get to 3 to make the cut. I check the migration of the wheels and won't proceed if they don't come out quick. I built 6 cars today and all 6 were about the best cars I have built yet, as far as that first test goes. I set the sharpie aside and went with monocoat. Looks like a gloss paint job! I like the way the new fenders install, my kids went nuts when they saw the finished car. I got some new wheels from John and new axles. I have some work to do but I do advise all the racers to get to work cuz I'm coming after you! Good like guys, looking forward to Aug 15th! I also have tried a new building technique to help me remove wheels at re-prep. I router a notch in the rear axle to help me push the axles out. I am also able to check the alignment by using 2 pin gauges. I'm excited about these 3 cars I'll post my street rod in a bit.

Now will ya all please share so pics with all the rest of us junkies, I need a fix!!!

I could post pictures without wheels... I haven't gotten anything in yet that I was hoping to have for this race.

I will post when I get the bodies done.... with or without the wheels... Hopefully, I will have my wheels in by then.

My wheels are worn out. I placed an order on June 4th and another on July 17th. Haven't seen the first thing from either order. I literally am prepping 2.7g BSA wheels for this Aug race in BASX and SS.

Ship your cars out to Utah without wheels... maybe someone will have some sympathy for you and put a set of wheels on your cars for you !

What's up with the middle car on the top picture? Have I been drinking or are those fenders upside down? /images/boards/smilies/confused.gif

LOL, LOL! They are new. They are stamped with a "GEE" Mark that needs to face up, thats how they are to be installed. I think i did it right. We will see. They are way different, I think they look pretty cool and my kids love them. Rocket, your comment made me spit milk through my nose.

Nice technique Bulldog! Eliminates the vent hole, for those of you that use it.

Here is a picture of our car named Big Red. It's our first vinyl ladder car. I think I'm done with paint.

Here a BASX I call this one "Bullet Proof" it's running pretty good here hope it holds till the race.

Joel, is that NDFW OK to run in BASX? It might be just the camera angle but it looks like there's no tread bumps?

Couple from the bench of 561, I think you can figure out the SS's name.

I call this one Harbaugh for obvious reasons. Go Blue!!!!!!!

Zooming in on the picture allows you to see the tread bumps, small, but still there.
