Lets see new builds for Fire #3

This is a new Eliminator. It will be at the September race for the BSA Razor Wheel race a few of us are racing. It is a basswood frame with two extra frame members running the length of the body. I drilled the body with the GoatBoy drill jig. First picture is the shaped, filled and sanded body. Second picture has the covering. The body weight with covering is 13 grams. I will lightly paint the car this weekend. I will be adding a few additional things before it is complete.

Looking smooth.

Will you recess the hubs for the BSA razors?

Yes, on my set of wheels, the inner hub is coned and not shortened and the outer hub is recessed. Just like a SS wheel but the 7.5mm tread is removed also. I'm not sure what Quicktime is going to do since he cuts his own wheels. But that is what makes this an interesting race.
