Hey Guys.

After contempating that I may need several sets of different wheels to be competative for the different classes that my son and I will be running. Scout pack, scout district, Mid america scout-open adult-pro, npwdrl, all have different rules on wheel specs/weight. I realized thats alot of wheels.

So how many races do you guys get from a set of wheels before they start to lose performance, given that they dont get damaged and the stop section is good?

Ted.

I'm still running a set of 1 year old cheetahs. They have a seasons worth of racing plus testing and tunning each month. Last month was my fastest times since I bought them.

clean the surface off between races and they will speed up again if you are not doing that already

In addition to cleaning off the surfaces, do you guys also clean out the bores and axles after each race? I'm thinking, and please correct me if your experience proves otherwise, that leaving the jig or maybe even the krytox in the wheels and axles over an extended period of time can't be healthy to either?

Most everyone repreps, so they do get cleaned out. I have several that haven't been touched since last June that I'm going to reprep this week so I'll let you know for sure.
