Thanks TRE, I think I found it. http://www.pinewoodderbyonline.com/post/how-much-does-over-steering-cost-6404272?highlight=steer+numbers&pid=1280381592#post1280381592
I used the equations at http://www.mathopenref.com/sagitta.html and plugged them into excel. One nice rule of thumb that others have probably noticed already, but it looks like a simple method of converting steer from 4 ft to 8 ft is to muliply by 4. So 3" => 12", 2" => 8", 2.5" => 10", etc. Not exact but pretty close.
on everyone's tuning tables how high does everyone lift the starting end? i have a 6 ft board that i lift 3.5 inches???, my next car im going to use only 4 ft of the board after hearing everyone this sounds like the "standard" everyone speaks of when talking steer
If you cut the legs off of one side of the table this will get you close to the 27.1 degree angle of the track and you'll really be able to see what the car will do. For about a second. j/k
Very little lift you don't want the car speeding off the other end.
