MicroLux Benchtop Variable Speed Mini Hobby Drill Press or Proxxon Bench Drill Press TBM115 that is the question.

I need to buy one that is easy to square. What are your thoughts?

I belive that most are using the proxxon and love it. I can tell you not to buy a Ryobi.

Don't buy Craftsmen either. No way to get it square. Not possible!

i have the microlux, i wish i had gotten the Proxxon. mine is not bad, but i just wish i had gotton the Proxy, seems to be a better quality unit.

I have the Microlux. I bought the Proxxon after hearing great things about it but
the one I received wasn't square so I sent it back.

From what I can tell they are pretty close except Microlux has a larger table.

Both will do the Job. Go with the one that's a better deal. I own a Proxxon good machine,

The proxxon comes with the collets which makes it an equal deal. Hower proxxon is already set up out of the box. I would go proxxon

I am considering picking up a bench drill press. Do you guys use any of the attachments with the Proxxon? Like the compound micro table or the clamp?
