Mid America Derby and the NPWDRL!

OK fellas the NPWDRL is getting behind the Mid America Derby. Since it is only 1 class I think it will be possible to throw support towards the race. The Dash 4 Cash is the week before and the cars can get sent directly to the race from there or we can use a secondary Street Pro car. It is important to support these races and this hopefully will be a future site for an NPWDRL event.

The results for the race will score ranking points towards the National Pinewood Derby Top 25 Power Rankings .

DerbyDad4Hire is also going to give away to be randomly drawn and awarded to one of the participants of the Pro Division race:

1 GOAT Wheel Bearing System
5 sets of Dynasty axles
3 free car entries into an NPWDRL event

I am going to make every attempt to be there live. Lets do our best to support the ones trying to bring the sport together!

It will direct you to the Council website and you simply complete your registration thru the Councils site... if any of you have any questions just let me know.

I was just told about this post saying this race would be awarded points. Had I known in time I would have sent a car. Their are a lot more folks on here that probably don't know either. I'm all for supporting it, but dont agree with points being awarded as it was not originally on the NPWDRL schedule. I have all my stuff tore down reprepping for CCRL next weekend. Best of luck to everyone and I will have a car at the next one.

JMB the points factored in will be towards the top 25 power rankings. This is more a monthly listing and honor instead of a season long ranking. They will not count towards the Street Pro series championship. All racers need not stress over not being able to get a car just to receive points. This is an effort to support pinewood derby and a possible future stop on the NPWDRL circuit.

Alright registered!! The car will be coming from the CCRL race. It sucks that it will be on a old prep but we shall see how it goes!!

Quicktime - I wish there was a way around that... unless you had 2 seperate cars available to race... I am sure a 2 time run car of yours is still going to blow away most of the competition.
