The time for the Mid-America Derby is closing in. Our Country is fighting the COVID-19 virus with some area’s hit harder than others. Here in Nebraska restrictions are in place for no more than 10 individuals bring within six feet of each other and no more than 10 individuals together with social spacing, along with wanting people to stay home. These restrictions will be in place at least till the 10th of May.
As much as we would like to have the Mid-America Derby this year the current situation has driven us to cancel the Mid-American Derby for this year and move it to May of 2021. The safety and well-being of all our loyal supporters is of the upmost importance to us.
We appreciate everyone’s support and enthusiasm it is truly amazing. To all our sponsor’s we look forward to your continued outstanding support for our event. Your support is key to making the Mid-American Derby race the country’s premiere Derby race.
For those who have built your pine wood derby cars for this years Mid-America Derby, for this year only you will be able race those cars at next year’s race in May of 2021. Again, thank you for your understanding and support. We will see you in May of 2021, as the best racers in the country come to race at the Mid-American Derby, the premiere Derby race in the country.
