Mid America Update

Well she didnt make the finals but did win a heat race, looked like the car ran 3.01 on most of the runs. Not upset knowing that the sub 3 cars had a ton more prep put in. Stil enjoyed watching the races, time to get faster

PM me with your phone number. I took a few pictures of your car, but I don't have a fancy phone with a data plan. I can send a text message with them, although it may be a bit anti-climatic now.

Computer issues in the pro races, lost my car (more because I am a dufus), lost scout cars which I helped chase down, my kid's scout car hit the floor after being checked in sustaining a broken wheel, generous offer by Glenn to allow it to race (although it ran horrible after the fall), fixed some broken scout cars, late nights in the hotel lobby chit-chatting, swapping secrets, made the finals in SS for the first time ever at nationals, minor airport problems with carrying on a bunch of cars, barbecues, and really no sleep. Can'the wait to get home and start my vacation.

Great time meeting John and all the racers.

Congratulations B Regal on making the finals at Nationals! That is a big accomplishment.
Sorry to hear about your cars. It was really cool of you to spend so much time repairing some the many cars that arrived damaged. It seemed like every box I opened had at least one broken car in it.

I agree, time for a little rest...

Yes! Congratulations B_Regal on making the finals! Your scream, when you threw down that blistering pass, caused John to jump. Also thanks for allowing the use of your laptop, it allowed the show to go on without another hitch.

B-Regal thanks to your laptop the show went on and congrats for making the SS finals. I am coming for you in the fire series! It was great hanging out with you, Stephen (Bracketracer) and cheering each other as we entered the finals for the first time!! What a blast!

I use to do Comicbook Conventions and such, it's like this every time, but that's part of the fun of it.
Great job helping people out, that's real racing !

One of my cars ran a constant sub 3. too, which is better than I expected from it.

The one thing you can always say about Gravity Racing, "it's all down hill from here", lol

Thanks for the compliments, but MAGLEV and Bracketracer also made the finals in different classes. The just showed a little more restraint instead of letting out an ear piercing scream....

I might have scared a few cub scouts...who knows...

Joel staged hundreds of cars. Benji and Cash lined them up. Brian just dominated. John smiling. Nate just glad to be there, whatever the outcome. Bulldog is Bulldog. Benji tuning carsgiving out tidbits of information to others racers to get them going. Cleve, super nice but with wrong priorities (j/k, he was just under some pressure to finish his cars, in which he won). Paul just thinking outside the box. Mojo, Joel, Chip, Shawn, Todd, Zeeb, and I'm sure a bunch of folks I just forgot to mention. Ahhhh, good times, good times.

For the record I think your 'celebration' and Bulldog 'dropping a car' were two of the best moments of the pro races....

That was HILARIOUS when Bulldog dropped the car... Vanessa even flipped out! she was at the finish line and almost had a heart attack when she heard the car hit the floor...

Like I said then... that was wrong on sooooo many levels... It was AWESOME !

I presume Bulldog staged an accident... /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif

Ya, Bulldog was helping carry cars back from the finish and dropped a body with no wheels as a prank right in front of us! I'm sure anyone in that heat had their heart skip a beat! It was during the Eliminator session so we knew it was a prank when we didn't see wheel pieces everywhere!

Big congrats guys!!!! Hey Ed, you messed up my camera work when you yelled!! I have 6 little boys off the Scout track that want to talk to you. LoL

ahhhhh I'd be that happy too!!!!!!
