Thought I'd share a picture of Mojo even though its pretty much a clone of the X3. But with each iteration I get a little better and more consistent with the fender shaping.

That is some nice craftsmanship on the fenders/side skirts. Can you tell us what material you used to make all the fender material from? My guess would be balsa.
Really like the shape of the fenders and believe your design offers an advantage in traffic. Get ready to see a pile of clones from your competition! Congrats on your dominant performance.
Nice looking car. Fenders are really looking good. I like how the front point of the fender is inline with the wheel and not off to the side. May have an advantage there.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. That and this win really do mean a lot to me because of the level of competition you guys bring. I've been pretty quite lately and generally haven't been extremely active on the board ... so I don't want anyone interpreting from that that this was easy for me. It wasn't. I thought I was pretty fast until I sent my first car in this year and it was a nearly .01 slower that than the top dogs. These speeds are absolutely insane and I had to work hard and smart to catch up.

Yeah ... I'm ok with seeing some clones - imitation being highest form of flattery and all. One reason I posted the picture at all was to give the proxy guys a punchers chance at duplicating the design should they have that desire. To those that will try I say "Good luck with that". And I don't mean that in a bad way; just that it takes many hours and patience, particularly the first couple times.

Very Nice, I'm in awe. I have fun building fenders but the cooler I make them the more they slow my car down. You are an artist! Do you use body filler of bondo to help with the build of the fenders?
