Has anyone used the MV Light Weight Wheels in the SP Class? The wheels are listed as being 0.9-1.0 gram wheels and there are no tread bumps on them. The inner and outer hubs look like they have been machined. I would think they could be polished and waxed like a BSA wheel and be reverse mounted too. Just wondering about advantages or disadvantages of using these wheels.

I have tried them. They seem to polish and wax up like BSA wheels. They are pretty competitive until the about the last 10 feet or so and then the other cars pull away to the finish line, I don't know if its because the wheel material is a little softer than BSA wheels or what. I am thinking that the SP wheels cut by DD4H and others are a little lighter and are special cut in the hub area just for this class.
