I've been applying as much knowledge as I could soak up from this site. I have my 42' best track set up that I just bought, and have been testing with dd4h cheetahs and 92 axles. His stuff is great, far superior than what comes out of the Box. I'm waiting on my delrin washers, how much of a difference do you guys think the washers make? Why putt them on the rear? Most of these cars are cut at 5/16" thick. the body's before paint were under .4 ounces. I ran one of theses cars before paint using the oil secrets and on my 42' track ran 2.98 and 2.97 all day long! I'm so stoaked! I'll try and send in my fastest car to the next NPWDLR race. My 3 sons cubs local race comes up in april, then we'll send them to Mid America to see how they do. Is the only way to get in the qualified cub at Mid America bracket to go race in that council? Thanks to all the experts for the knowledge. We've been holding Pine wood derby building nights in the boy scout troop I work with. Iam the Venture Crew Leader. We are going to start racing on my new track in our own boys league here in Southern Oregon. We are going to have big BBQs and Race what the boys build. They got me in to this and dang the bug has Bitt! We'll Invite all the troops in our district to join in. I'll post some pics of the Crew and troop.
