New cars for District Race

Hey fellas,

3M makes a spray adhesive called Super 77 that is pretty good.

Another thought is a strong double sided vinyl tape. I think I use the ProTape brand.

Laser,
I've seen it and almost picked up a can yesterday at Staples but was in too big of a a hurry. I think I'll go back today. My son has a project for school we will need it for this evening to test it/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

If you really "soak" one side of something with the Super 77 it will do the trick.

If you do both sides really good then it will be super tough to get apart.

Thanks Laser. Well my wife already had some elmers spray on adhesive that we used for the project. So laser are you saying for applying the cans to a car apply to the car and the can heavily with the super 77 and it will stay? Hopefully I can get away at lunch today and pick some up today.

Hey Never,

I think that should do it.

A real soaking on both surfaces and I can't see it going anywhere.

3M also has more powerful spray adhesives with different numbers.

Ex. Super Spray 90

The 77 should do the trick though. It is almost like sprayable rubber cement. I know I am dating myself with that term. (Less aggressive contact cement).

It comes off with all sorts of solvents. Even Iso Alc.

Just got back from district race. Best track was used. Our pack got first place to fifth place. Winning time 2.8494 !!!! Fifth place was 2.8720. Thanks guys!! Clean sweep.
