I swear I have seen something like that before but I can't figure out where. I even did a google image search. I am thinking they some type of tiny rubber boot collar like you would find in pipe work. If that is what I think, does that make it a type of suspension system for the wheels? The one thing that doesn't fit with my theory is, if they are for holding the axles it looks like the front and back are both positive canted.

They become against the rules when used in a manner that breaks the rules.

Everythings fine until you use tiny rare earth magnets to make your wheel into a magnetic motor.

The no magnet rule in most BSA races is to keep people from adding one to the nose of the car so when the starting pin drops it pulls the car forward. It falls under no starting devices in NPWDRL.

I believe if they are what I think then they would also not be allowed in a lot of scout races but looking at NPWDRL it looks like they are allowed. If I remember correctly most scout rules have a rule against a suspension system.

The start gate is all aluminum, magnets have no advantage on this track. Now if your using it as a motor well that's different.

Like I said I am swore not to say anything. But, I can give a little hint. I does have an effect on the cars in the opposing lanes. I seen the video Benji made of it. Simply amazing how he came across this idea. I asked how he thought of it. He said found it in an article in a magazine. I asked what magazine well he didn't tell me. Sorry

I wasn't implying any cheating. I am all for seeing any new breakthroughs that actually work. Is that something that can be applied to other classes or is it unique for being held inside the street rod bodies?
