New gate is insane!

The track is dialed in to perfection! The new gate is insanely quiet and consistent. Joel ran his scout car across the lanes 2.967, 2.967, 2.968, 2.967. That is an old SCOUT CAR. You literally don't hear the gate launch. The live feed seems to be rocking. We will unbox cars in the morning and have an incredible day of racing.

FYI, the times are a lot different! We tested several setups and found no matter what we did, the hinged gates bearings or not were not consistent. We created a rolling gate and BAM! I mean BAM!!! Every lane is dead on.

I'll need to get that info so I can mod the gate on my track. Just looking at the gate, as shipped, it's functional, but there certainly is room for improvement. I would be curious to see what you guys have done to improve the gate for silky smooth operation.

I would like to know what gate it is and what mods were done to. I have a 42 foot best 2 lane and 42 foot 6 lane. I am still pulling lever on both. Maybe is it some John can add to his web site to purchase.

OK, we made one last modification to get the times closer to what they were. The times are going to be a little bit slower now but sub 3 will be a great target again.

Any idea what time you are shooting for to start the races? is it still 1 pm or is it moved to 3 or 3 or even 4?
