NEW STREET STOCK CHANGES!

The new Street Stock changes will take effect for the June National Championships race. I want new racers to be able to get their cars in for the Nationals. These are the changes detailed once again.

1. Wheelbase restrictions eliminated. You will still have to have 4 wheels being directly across from each other but you can make any wheelbase.

2. There will BE tiered levels to the Street Stock class. THE RESULTS FROM THE MAY RACE WILL QUALIFY YOU INTO A CLASS FOR THE JUNE RACE!!! Top 10 ranked racers will be considered in the ELITE level. The next 10 will be considered a PRO level. The rest will be placed in the AMATEUR level. All new builders will start as an amateur.

It will be a race within a race with racers competing with the ones in their class. There will be 3 winners crowned with trophies going to the top 3 in the elite level and a trophy going to the winner of the other 2 levels.

Season points will be awarded as they currently are with a total overall standing with all levels included.

Each month the racers times will be re evaluated and racers may be reclassified. You can only drop down one level or go up one level.

I WILL BE CREATING BADGES FOR THE ELITE RACERS AND PRO RACERS THAT WILL BE DISPLAYED IN YOUR SIGNATURES!

3. Wheel rules will be change to:
Street stock wheels must be BSA wheels
They must retain all markings inside and out
The tread surface must remain 7.5mm or greater
The wheel can weigh no less than 2 grams. Anyone with wheels in question will be subject to having a wheel removed and weighed at the end of the race.

THIS WILL ALSO BE THE RULES FOR THE STREET RODS!
