New Work Bench

Now man Table have power .... Looks really great.... Like the TV and of course we see plenty of outlets there... Not to mention your chair looks pretty comfy... I dont think this is just for PWD.. LOL

Very Nice Ice .... Now you have inspired me to go get my bench cleaned back off sothe boys can get to work on their cars as winter time is not to weather to paint in...

Vise? I use it all the time. I will typically clamp an old block into and use it as a base to hold cars in place while gluing fenders or top covers in place, sanding when needed, and many other useful things not necessarily associated to building pinewood cars and around the house projects. Don't know what I would do without it.

+1
Looking good fella

Thanks Guys, Thanks for all your suggestions!!!!

I have a love hate relationship with a vice, takes up my space but have to have it. I have a 6" in the garage but its beat up pretty bad. I thought about a clamp on one or a retractable one. But I know I'll have to eventually bolt it to the bench!

I use the clamp on vise. It's small and movable.

I think your right on Kinser, I have a hard time switching gears to do smaller work. When I think of a Vise I see myself beating the sh1t out of a U-joint. lol But its time to think smaller!!

I checked out Amazon and wow they had a list a mile long!!

This looks pretty good. IRWIN 226303 3-Inch Clamp-on Vise --- I'll post in Tools to see what everyone thinks about them!

It looks awesome. I can't do what I do without a vice. It's at the top of the tool list for me.

Hi Chris,

I find this intriguing because it is closer to the bottom of my list.
My build style is not the norm so I am curious as to your attraction to it.
There are certainly many uses for a vise but I really want to know how you like to use it.
Many thanks as always,
Joe

Just to keep up with the "clean" workspace most of you have, I had to move to a new location. I did say some people could borrow it on occassion though...
