Newbie needs quick advice.

Ok, I've read tons of stuff about "To Cant or Not to Cant" the wheels.

But before I get drill happy I have a question I never really found a answer to.
Should one cant the axels for a car running razor style wheels?
Not the super duper thin ones, just basic ones.

If so, still 3 degrees?

I don't run razors, but, in my mind, here's what canting the rears will normally accomplish for you:

- Reduces the contact point of the wheels the smallest possible area (Less important, in my mind).

- Moves the inside edge of the wheels further away from the rail (More important, in my mind).

When you're running razors, the first point is pretty much moot, since the wheels themselves are so thin, they already have a tiny contact area point. The second point, I think, depends on the design the wheels, with the hub. If the wheels have been thinned, but the hub is full-size, they've already got plenty of space between the wheels and rail. If the hub is ground down, then you may want to think about how you'll keep your rears sufficiently spaced away from the rail.

The only axle that has cant is the DFW for steering purposes with razor wheels.
