Hey fellas,

Is it preferred to have the Non DFW close to the guide rail or farther away?

Thanks in advance,

Well,if you have enough steer it should never touch the rail. Given that, you should be able to press the non dfw tight against the body so it doesnt spin and have no issues. There are different thoughts about this.

Thanks guys,

Hey Rocket. That "Gettin Naked" was quick!

It kind of surprised me because it looked like it might have flex.

Inspiring build.

You were right about the one piece fenders "killing your time".

I had to open them up so much for clearance that I might as well have started over.

Amazing how much room you need to clear to accommodate canted/ toed, axles/wheels.

Thanks again,

Here is something else to consider. When I got my streetrod back from the last race I put it on my tuning board. The steering had changed, it now steered 1" to the side of the dfw. Meaning it was riding hard against the ndfw. The ndwf was tight and did not spin. If this happened in shipping to the race, during the race, or shipping home is unkown. But makes me wonder. The car had a fast final run. I need a test track.
