Non DFW

Instead of using your 4th 2 gram wheel for your lifted wheel, you can use a stock new style BSA wheel. They weigh 2.5 to 2.6 grams. The wheel will still weigh over 2 grams with the hub cut down and the wheel cover on.

Save the 4th 2 gram wheel as a spare.

Since the wheel weight is checked on a scale to .1 resolution, the wheel could weight as little as 1.95g and still pass as a 2g wheel. Cutting the hub removes only a tiny amount of weight so a typical 2.05g wheel has enough room to shave the hub and still be fine. But I think running three good wheels down and a stock NDFW is better on the budget!
