John,
I assume that the format will be the same for the race, with the exception of running on 2 lanes instead of 3? Will that also allow for the Slammr's to run without trouble? Any other anticipated variations?

I, for one, would be happy to kick-in for a nice pre-race lunch. Considering the circumstances, we are more than appreciative of your efforts (MONUMENTAL) to even get this underway, so lunch will be on us.

Thanks!

O.R.

The speeds of the Door slammers will be slower with a car right next to it. At the last slammer race in dirty air the best the car ran was a 2.993 in clean air it ran a 2.985.

I am in for the pre-race fest!! Let me know what to bring!

I am still trying to get to UT by Fri. Yesterday, the transmission of my truck went to pieces in Phoenix. Hopefully I will get it back today by noon, and hot foot it to Utah. Bad news is that I am $4000 poorer. All for PWD, this almost cost me my GET OUT OF JAIL FREE card I got from my wife.
ONWARD AND UPWARD.

I love it that you call it a "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE " card. It totally cracks me up! /images/boards/smilies/rofl.gif

The format will be the same unless you guys want to cut it to 4 runs instead of 6. The slammrs will be fine side by side. Just a bit slower.

I am planning to grill some hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch if that is good.

IDK on the runs. Whats the general consensus? I can't get there early enough for lunch, but I'll bring some chips and a 32oz tub of my dip! /images/boards/smilies/eek.gif

I am fine with 4 runs.

1. What time does the race start on Saturday?

2. How do we watch it live?

3. How do we get on the chat?

Thanks,

Jim
