Hey ODD,
Thanks for this. Saw my car race at 1:50 sec. All, I see now death wobble or wiggle so why was I so slow? I think my wheel and axel prep are good. Drilling is stamp right but might be off a hair. My COM was about 4/8 with 4 in of steer. I thought with the agressive CoM that 4 would be good.
Suggestion for a re prep.
I enjoy this sport and it's amazingly frustrating. All the cars I build with my latest tips from here stick while my sons simple cub cars do better. At the mid America everyone broke 3 but my new green car with fenders that used to be in my avatar. Seems like my building is going backwards.

Are you sure the rears are not toed in or out at all?
If not that, then I would suspect you have a wheel pinched. Did you cut the bending groove in the DFW axle yourself?
I would have to agree with BR that something is either pinched or a bad drill. Hard to say. Car tracked straight and didn't appear to shift one way or the other from the staged position. I think if anything was pinched real bad the crew may have caught it and tweaked it slightly. All in all still a good run, no wiggles. You're getting there.

I am sure its my drilling. I am not a craftsman. Bought my drill press for this hobby. I can test to see if the table is level, but is pretty crude. I test to see if my bit is 90 degrees to the table but I am not great at this either.
After I drill I only have 2-3 in drill bits to place into the holes and I check for toe with a t square. Have not gotten the 6 in rods or graph paper. I seem to have no toe to my crude measurment. I use the Silver Bullet and I know my cant is good.
perhaps I try an experiement and buy a pre-drilled bock-use the same wheels etc and see if thats it. I am afraid that without a handout on helo with the drilling I will never achieve precision. As the avatar suggests I just a country doctor not a pinewood ninja.
I was hoping it was a wiggle problem due to insufficient DFW toe. I also noted "losing" in the first 6 inches.
