NPWDRL SCHEDULE!

Thanks John, I'll be checking to see what location the Championship will be in November and try to attend. I enjoyed the June championship event.

John,

are you relocating family and business ?
personally I like the new schedule + one extra race.... SWEET....

Congrats, on the move daddio!!!
clap
Closer to QT I see. To bad its not near milwaukee.
lol

P.s. MX, I still love the looks of that car bro.

Thanks for the props RC!!! The car looks great, just need to find another gear for more speed.... Hope to catch you at another event

I like Cedar City. I used to go there about 4 times a year for work. That drive is not to bad from the Salt Lake area, so you will probably see me around still.
I've got a ton to do to get ready for the qualifiers. Thanks for the heads up and best of luck to everyone.

I am torn but the move is necessary. The place I am in now is just too excessive. I am spending over a thousand dollars a month extra to just be able to have a track set up and that really makes no sense at all for as little as it is used. I can get a test track and just rent a room to hold the races in. I love Cedar City. I think it will be a great place for the kids.

If it's for the kids ..... It's what's best ! If you think about it most of us are here because of our kids ! I KNOW I AM !
Good Luck on the move John !
P.S. Will this delay our products ? If so I am screwed for the fall series !

John does a racer have to run all qualifier races or can we run one and still qualify for the finals? I would love to race but I just don't have the time to run every month but if I could get qualified in one race and run the finals I may swing that.

The way the Man of the Mountain is set up everyone can race in the Championship race. The better you finish in the qualifiers, the less races you have to win and the better chance you have to win the title.

It is broken down this way.

The top 7 points leaders automatically are qualified for the championship round of 8 total builders.

Championship round:
1. Racer1
2.Racer2
3.Racer3
4.Racer4
5.Racer5
6.Racer6
7.Racer7
8. OPEN SPOT

The next 7 points leaders are automatically qualified for the Semi Final round.

Semi Final Round:
1. Racer8
2.Racer9
3.Racer10
4.Racer11
5.Racer12
6.Racer13
7.Racer14
8. OPEN SPOT

All other racers will go into a qualifier round that will race for the open 8th spot in the Semi Final Round. The winner of the Semi Final takes the OPEN SPOT in the Championship round.

STREET ROD will skip the Semi Final Round. STREET ROD will NOT count towards the overall Champion.

Each car entered through the tournament will give you another chance to win a 2 lane 42' Best Track with a Champ timer that will be drawn for at the Championship race.

Whatever Street Stock class you start in is what you will race for the entire tournament. You will be moved to the pro classification if you are using a pre built car from the vendors. We do not want people buying cars and racing them in the Am class. If you have been put in the Pro status because of this and want to move back I will allow that but please build your own cars if you are racing Am. Also if you have been league racing for years and can run the times that will qualify you as a pro but have not raced at NPWDRL then please do not enter the Am class.

I am thinking about the SS AM at Nationals. The winner was using a car that SW brought to the race completely done and tuned and ready to go. That is what I am talking about. You are a legit racer Zeeb that does your own work and if that applies then yes you can race Am. The class is for people like you that are trying to figure these cars out and be able to race with people at the same level until you break through in the class.

Maybe if should have been worded more like.... If you have been racing for years and you are having your car built for you by a friend vendor then don't enter the AM division.... or if you are a pro and have a friend that is slow then don't build a car for him to run in the AM division... I am just rambling, please disregard.
BINGO

My lathe has been down but I have it back up again so that has delayed the wheel making. I will be down for about a week at the beginning of August but I will be going strong until then and then after the move is done.

All orders in now are going out today or have been shipped.

I m brand new to league racing and it's been great. Nationals was my first race and i used a laser cut, pre drilled block. I did all the prep, the tuning, an added fenders. I ordered a laser block because the only power tools I own are a drimmel and a drill. Does this qualify as a pre-built car?

I would say definitely NO.... there are a lot of racers that don't have the tools to cut, shape, add weight pockets & drill a body. I don't see that even in the same ballpark to a pre-built car. There are so many other things you can still screw up! lol... John's talking about people running pro build cars that are already assembled, prepped and tuned or having a pro racer basically rebuilding an existing car to make it fast.

Exactly what 5 Kids said. Getting parts and putting together is completely different than just opening a box and handing it in. I am not saying you can't race prebuilt cars, I am just saying race them in the Pro division. You will get way more enjoyment from putting the car together yourself and winning. I want the Ams to enjoy the challenge of conquering the Am class and then moving to Pro.

Thank you for the clarification John ! Keep up the great work on the products !
As for the the AM class thanks for helping us newbie's out and giving us a better chance !
