The way the Man of the Mountain is set up everyone can race in the Championship race. The better you finish in the qualifiers, the less races you have to win and the better chance you have to win the title.

It is broken down this way.

The top 7 points leaders automatically are qualified for the championship round of 8 total builders.

Championship round:
1. Racer1
2.Racer2
3.Racer3
4.Racer4
5.Racer5
6.Racer6
7.Racer7
8. OPEN SPOT

The next 7 points leaders are automatically qualified for the Semi Final round.

Semi Final Round:
1. Racer8
2.Racer9
3.Racer10
4.Racer11
5.Racer12
6.Racer13
7.Racer14
8. OPEN SPOT

All other racers will go into a qualifier round that will race for the open 8th spot in the Semi Final Round. The winner of the Semi Final takes the OPEN SPOT in the Championship round.

STREET ROD will skip the Semi Final Round. STREET ROD will NOT count towards the overall Champion.

Each car entered through the tournament will give you another chance to win a 2 lane 42' Best Track with a Champ timer that will be drawn for at the Championship race.

Whatever Street Stock class you start in is what you will race for the entire tournament. You will be moved to the pro classification if you are using a pre built car from the vendors. We do not want people buying cars and racing them in the Am class. If you have been put in the Pro status because of this and want to move back I will allow that but please build your own cars if you are racing Am. Also if you have been league racing for years and can run the times that will qualify you as a pro but have not raced at NPWDRL then please do not enter the Am class.

I just wanted to confirm this, since somehow I won the SS-am tonight will I stay in SS-am until this tourney concludes and then go to SS-pro in the next race? I thought I heard you say on the audio feed that I was going to the pros.

Also, will there be a page listing the points earned in each qualifier and are the points earned by the car or the builder? Sorry, I'm new here!

I hope you get to stay in the SS-am class until the MOTM is over. I think you will just get your pro builder status "well deserved by the way". I know I look forward to going down against you in the next race.

I know OTO racing is getting a car or two in next time and Skidogg racing said he is getting a car in for it as well. The field should be a bit thicker from here on out for the AMs.

I believe by this statement you are to retain amateur status throughout the rest of the tournament and continue to run in the SS AM class, unless I misinterpreted something. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Guys John always does an excellent job at posting points and letting everyone know how they are progressing leading up to the November Championship. Give him a little time to get it formatted and all your questions will be answered.

I would like to finish the tourney in SS-am before I get my arse handed to me by the pros! I had bought supplies to build an SP car during the MOTM sale but I think those will go into another SS car so I can recycle the green car.

Viz, I think we'll both have pro status before this tourney is over! Then we'll go beat up on g.o.! lol!

Be good to see OTO and Skidogg back on the track!

I myself am going to stick with SS until I get a firm grasp on these builds. I still have so much to learn and get better at as far as wood working, engineering, and even just the thought process that goes into making these things faster. Previous to my green car I've never done any wood working in my life short of cutting a 2x4 for my dad when he was working on the house.

This is a whole new world to me and I wish I had 1/10 the building skill that my brother, OTO, and my dad has but that I guess will come in time... a long long time.
