Hello to all, This is my first post but looking forward to many more. I got started with the pinewood derby racing last year when my company did it as a quality month activity. I finished 2nd. This year they expanded the activity to our companies all over north america. This year I finished 1st in my company and I am now going to the finals for all our north american companies. I am going to enter my car in the national championships, looking forward to that. I have looked at a few of the current posts and it looks like everyone is excited about pinewood derby racing and willing to help anybody. Looking forward to more posts. Thanks

Welcome to a very addictive hobby. Are you allowed to run oil in your company race? If at all possible use oil instead of graphite.

I am allowed to run oil and I think that's what made the difference from last year to this. The second place car was 2 full car lengths behind me. Thanks for the input.
