outer hubs on awana wheels

the outer hubs on these awana wheels have texture..almost like the plastic on the interior of a car..should i use few grits of sand paper to try and smooth that out then polish them

Are you talking about the surface that meets the axle head? If it isn't smooth, then sand it smooth.

It's been my experience, though, that the AGP wheels are smooth on all important surfaces from the get go; needing only a polishing and lubing to be ready to roll.

ya the outer wheel hub were it meets the axle, its got a light texture..seems to me if that is sanded smooth and polished there will be less friction...
