I was wondering if somebody has taken photo's of a Street Rod during the building process to look at as a reference point

Blue, Have you seen the article from OPARENNEN on how to build a street rod. I copied to a word file, I was going to build one back in Nov, but work got in the way. The only difference now is that you can't use the clear plastic car covers you have to use the models from Hobby Lobby. If you want I can send you the word doc article. Hope that helps

OBR- You may have to PM some of the guys to get basic set up on that class .. I would think the mounting of the body is a key part with proper alignment.. Man those things are fun to watch run but not sure about building one .. I have a kit on the shelf not sure if I want to build it yet .. that is more skills than this Ole Boy has right now .. lol

I thought for those new to this class I would post a few pic's of the the way I mounted the body to the chassis. You will have to come up with you own measurements, these pictures will just give you a little visual. The first picture is of the side pieces that I attach to the body. I just use a epoxy to secure.

The next is what you do to the chassis to mount it to the body

Once the screws are in the chassis and the side mounts are on just slip the body on.
