Where is the best place to buy individual quality pin gages? I can find the sets but it seems like a waste when I only need a few. I tried a search at granger but could never find the sizes I want.

I have both of these... I don't use all of them, but if I had bought the ones I use individually I would have paid alot more...

I had saw those sets, just didn't know about the quality. They seem to be pretty true?

They are the only pin gages that I have ever had so I can't compare the quality to any other manufacturer. They are ground hardened pins that are etched with the size and if you measure them they are that size. I have had them for over a year and they work perfect.
I have a gage pin set off of EBay for many miscellaneous needs, but have ordered individual Class ZZ gage pins from toolsavings.com ([email protected]), for about $2.25 each or the local Vermont distributors, recently about $2 each, directly. I wanted the half sizes for checking wheel bore IDs when trying to best match wheels and some duplicates for a few common setups like my out-of-round checker.
I bought some of the Class-Z + pin gauges from McMaster-Carr, and they are nice quality and seem to work fine.
