Pine Car wheels?

So I got a couple sets of Pine Car wheels. Looking at these things man they are terrible! Any body ever mess with them?
Being that they look so bad I think it would be fun to do a Pine Car wheel challenge, a race within the SS race. Any takers? SS wheel rules would apply.

I'm down. One piece axles and or nails? Anybody make machined pinecar wheels?

there's another thread pertaining to machining pinecar wheels. At 3.5 grams theres a lot of weight that could go. If we were to do this, and we were to lighten the wheels much, I'd probably be out unless someone wants to machine some wheels.

I was planning on turning them down to the 2g. area. I'm sure John would cut some, I know this is his busy time so it might be something we put off till March or April. I'm not wanting to use the axle because I wasn't planing a new build for it. Just plug them on a current or old car and go. There will have to be a little work on these wheels, they are that bad!
