Let me see if I have this right, correct me plz so that I build the correct car for the class. Thanks

Pure Stock= Street Stock
Standard BSA wheelbase no extreme wheel mods with 4 wheels directly across from each other. Block can be any material.

Stock= Street Pro
Any wheelbase, any open wheel, axle larger than .84, no needle axles,

Modified= Eliminator
Any wheelbase, any wheel under 31mm (razor wheels ? ) Any axle larger than .84,

Super Pro Mod= Unlimited
Anything goes, any wheel under 31mm ( razor wheels ?) ( bearings ?)

Street rod=door slammer
1/24 or 1/25 scale plastic model body , 6 oz. , no longer than body for length , 3.5" wide, 4" tall, BSA wheels in model wheel wells .

Ok, can I get a typical picture of a car of each class plz

Not only would this help me but it would help out the really new members as it took me awhile to figure this out ( and I'm still tring to decipher the subtle differences )

Thanks

the only class that has to have 4 wheels is the Street Stock class.

and Street Rod. /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif

yup, forgot about that one, i myself dont really think of that one as a class, as it is not for points. but you are correct.

Awesome thanks for the post and clarity ~! Stock= Street Pro (Any wheelbase, any open wheel, axle larger than .84, no needle axles,) looks like my first class.
hmmm

Tim ,,I'm glad your jumping in with both feet.. But I warn you this PWD stuff is addicting. You will find yourself thinking about it all the time. I have a feeling you are going to do great once you get your feet set. Last season we had some top notch rookies. good luck

I can't agree more! I have built four bodies that I have no intentions of running just for practice this week. I can't wait to get some wood rolling down the track.

Thanks Sogone, I have been consumed by Derby racing since I found this site. If it weren't for the pack race on the 21st I would be making the first race of the NPWDRL season but once that is over it's game on~!

I don't expect to do well being my first time competing at this level (it's all about learning right now) and without a track to practice on but you have to start some place I just wish there was a track close enough to attend races in person and tune on my car.

My son also will be racing on the 21 of January so I plan to send in a car for Feb. I cant wait!!![/font]
