On the plug and play pre drilled rail runner pinewood derby block that I got, it needed some sanding work around the rear axle hole and this was the direction I was given. Based on that answer, it appears it does not matter as long as the front is narrower. Still not sure if it makes the same speed difference as the EZ tune block. I would think that you would still want to keep the rear wheels off the rail.

You are correct, with a normal RailRunner set-up you always want the rears off the rail. Whether it is a EZ tune, Plug-n-play, or whatever doesn't matter.... rears off the rails always. Your rears are negative cant pushing them away from the rail and the DFW is positive cant which is pulling it closer to the rail.... Before everything is finished, test your body by putting in 2 straight rear axles and a bent (plug-n-play) or a straight (EZ) DFW axle in the DFW and roll your car slowly down a yard stick.... Make sure the rear behind the DFW is off the yard stick, if it isn't then cut back the DFW a little and retry.... but it will be....

Never had to do anything with PnP except follow directions.

I actually believe this is DD4H's best product for the first timer. I learned so much about what I was doing wrong before...
