[font="times new roman, times, serif"]I would just like to say that I think it is extremely cool and generous of not only DD4H but everyone else as well for taking the time to help everyone out!!! Especially the the dads like myself with not so much knowledge or experience with this PWD bug that has bit me pretty hard... I would just like to virtually shake everyones hand to say thank you , Ya it sounds dumb but I am just very appreciative to all! You all are just way cool !![/font]
we just want to try to get eveyone up to speed on the fundamentals, then everyone has a better time.
most of us are or were the local legends, but racing in the league is a whole different story. I spent my first year getting SMOKED A LOT. but i learned alot too. And i found a few other guys that were in my speed range and had a great time. Derby Freak and I had a legendary battle all season long on track and off.
He came out ahead but all good time was had by all.

I am an over the hill racer. 5 sons and 15 grandsons. For years, we won every PW event we entered. Last year, one grand son won Pack, District and Council, with a three foot trophy. So I entered his car in my first league race. We were 36th out of 37. Talk about a let down. In inches, we were almost 7 inches behind the leader.
