Kind of a silly question I know but do most of you make a new car for each of these races a month? of do you just take the car after the race, retune, adjust etc and resubmit for the next race? or do you make new bodies but transfer wheels and axels and retune....

It depends on the car, if you have a very fast car which some do they keep running that car. Others build new. I like to run the same car several times to see if I can improve, I still have a long way to go!
I have had many "one and done" cars. I have a couple unlimiteds now that are performing well so I will run them for a while. I took my time on the paint with them too, so I want to race them for as long as they are competitive.
Just curious,what are the prizes in these races...trophy's,$$$ or just plain 'ol bragging rights?
With the group of builders that we have here, I would be plenty happy with bragging rights alone and nothing else...

Well when you build three or four in a row and they all perform the same is when you have to start asking is it the car or the build process.
I had one car 4 years ago that need two small tweaks and it picked up .019 seconds. That was when I learned that tuning and trouble shooting can save a car as well as teach you a few things. Never give up on a car after its first race, you never know what you may have missed.
