Raised Wheel

I do on my cars...my theory is that if the wheel is spinning it could possibly create enough disturbance/friction to slow me down

How high do you make the NDFW off of the track when the car is sitting at rest? I think if it is not high enough that any twist in the body of the car may allow it to hit the track especially during the bottom of the ramp transition.

Is there any issue using a garbage wheel and axle for the locked down raised wheel? I'd like to save the good stuff (and expensive stuff) for where it is actually needed, if possible.

The only issue you would have is if it doesn't fall within the rules ( i.e. a lightened wheel for street stock).
