Raising Expectations!

So this run above had the Batman and white "Frozen" car running. Frozen was a 2.958 on that one.

What actually was the most exciting is that the Robin car I drilled myself using The Silver Bullet and with only wheel bore prep, and a basic file work and mild polish on the kit axles had that car turning 2.993! Zinc weight and a few less than ideal con figs still got sub 3's!

My kids were guests, and I didn't want to take a trophy from a Scouts sibling. Despite some initial dissapointment on my kids face when their names were not called fir a trophy, there was something satisfying to see my 3 and 5 yr kids hold their heads high and watch others come up to them letting them know they held the fastest times of the day.

Here are a few more runs. The third and last one has some great unedited crowd response when t h e Batman flew off the track.

Hate to bump this in less than 24 hrs, but I ah hoping someone can take a look at the videos and tell me if these are legit sub 3 second cars from the looks of the track layout.

It looks like the timer is at 35 feet or less so, they'll be faster. That stop section is a joke. That is why you should bring a big beach towel to the race. The car will slide right under the towel and it'll stop without getting launched on the floor or have another car land on top of it. We learned that the hard way.

There legit times for a 35ft track which I think that is. On the NPWDRL track which is 40ft, more like 3.XXX something.
