Ready for Mid America!

Thanks Momentum!

Kinser, I could not have done it without your help and guidance. And if it doesn't run with the big dogs, I have someone to share the blame with. HAHAHAHAHA

I don't ever feel like my cars are ready. But, they are sent and now begins the experiment with less steer.
I know that feeling well. I finally had to stop running it down the track and tinkering with it or I was going to have to re-prep the wheels. Now it is like waiting for Christmas morning to get here.

I like the "pull out ribbon" , was thinking that myself, but didn't have any on hand, so I cut a finger hole by the tail of the car. "coffin Nail" doesn't need it as there's plenty of car to grab.

Here's to race day !

Bulldog, you should recognize the box as I built it after watching your videos. It is not as pretty as yours but it will hopefully get the job done. Just to prove that I am a rookie and make horrible rookie mistakes. Below is a photo of my near disaster in the 11th hour of trying to finish the box to ship my car. Too much glue is never a good thing around axles and wheels! Lucky I caught it before it did any damage.

Lol...It would not have been my first instinct either, but the picture does tell a thousand words. /images/boards/smilies/eek.gif

Well that was NOT my first thought. My first thoughts all started with an F and ended with a K, there was a lot of them. I already had my phone right there so while I was trying to figure out the best way to get it out without incurring more damage, I decided to slow down and take a photo while I figured it out. It should still be fast.

I have heard that some have tried using glue as a lubricant...Not sure how fast it was.

I am experimenting with mixing small amounts of glue with the oil and only using it in the left rear wheel to get a torque vectoring effect so that I do not have to bend the front axle and still get the 10-12" of steer needed for the car not to wiggle.
