Does anyone have a good (i.e. BETTER) way to remove the first bearing from an Unlimited wheel?

Up to now, I have had to ease it out with an Exacto knife. (doing this you must be extremely careful).
The second bearing is easy to remove, put an Unlimited axle in a piece of wood deep enough to when
placing the wheel, the wheel drops only 1/8 inch. Also when doing this, only put pressure on the wheel
as close as you can to the wheel center.

I take both sides out with a razor blade very carefully. I have broke a couple of wheels doing it your way.

I haven't tried removing my bearings yet, but with larger bearings on the farm, we'll run a slightly smaller shaft or punch through so you can press out on the other bearing. Maybe a straightend paper clip. But we're working with sealed bearings or one that are out. I'm not sure how hard you would have to push. My luck, with these open bearings, I'd scratch a roller ball. This may not be a good idea as I have gotten to the end of my thought.

I certainly would not use the acetylene torch like we do with combine bearings some times.
